JOB SUMMARY:

The responsibilities will include analyzing information, maintaining complete and accurate records, providing prompt, courteous responses to clients, vendors, and employees. This position will utilize software programs to process business transactions, including accounts payable (A/P), time & attendance, payroll, journal entries, and other accounting duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Maintain accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and other information related to accounts payable and payroll.

-Assist and participate in daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities, including data entry for accounts payable and payroll.

-Assist and participate in generating financial reports, assisting with audits, and resolving discrepancies.

-Review and confirm invoices are correct and coded correctly. Input accounts payable information after review and ensure proper approvals prior to processing. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure charges are accurate and payments are made timely.

-Accurately prepare and maintain other accounting documents and records.

-Assist with Time and Attendance, and prepare payroll as needed.

-Perform filing and general administrative tasks.

-Other responsibilities as needed and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor’s degree ideally within a financial discipline preferred and/or equivalent experience

-0-3 years of accounting and/or a related financial discipline experience preferred

-Individual who can be trusted with confidential information, including payroll records and financial reports

-Motivated individual with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

-Must be able to meet deadlines

-Well developed IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure

-Customer service-oriented

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to work in a team setting
