Description:

Responsibilities include assisting in examination and treatment of patients under direction of Physician or mid-level provider by performing the following duties.

• - Interviews patients measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts.
• - Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• - Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials.
• - Calls medical facility to schedule patients for tests.
• - Gives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests.
• - Schedules appointments for ancillary services.
• Education and/or Experience:

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Must have MA certification
• - Must have CPR certification
• - Must be available to work some weekends, holidays, and evenings
