Description:
Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services. Responsible for optimal direct and indirect nursing care of the patients assigned to them. Must have the ability to comprehend and follow routine written or verbal instruction or directions. Adheres to Standard Precautions, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Current Vocational Nurse Licensure in the state of Texas
- Current certification in CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- IV Certification course within 60 days of hire
- One year of nursing experience in Hospital setting/Med/Surg (preferred)
