Frio Regional Hospital offers patients a better view with MRI.
Now, in and out-patients can get magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services right here in Pearsall. MRI scanning delivers faster exam times, higher resolution image quality, and more detailed information about structures in the body than can be seen with a CT scan or X-ray.
The uniquely built, 400-square foot mobile unit contains the MRI system, a control room, a computer room, and a dressing area in a completely safe, radiation-free environment.
In partnership with Advanced Imaging Mgmt., LLC of League City, Texas, MRI services are provided Monday - Friday, between 8am and 5pm. Our Radiology Department also provides CT, X-ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, and EKG services.
MRI Exams must be ordered by a physician. Patients with a prescription for MRI from their doctor may schedule an outpatient appointment by calling 830.334.3617, opt. 121.
(MRI patients should not have metal or electrical devices in their bodies.)
